Personal branding is the thin line that separates an expert with a novice. The ability to make a name for yourself and stand out from thousands of competitors helps create the visual that you are an expert in your field.

Building your own personal brand is imperative; it must be authentic and unique. Similar to an elevator speech as described in a previous blog, your brand should be characterized in a few adjectives in order to absorb the attention of the consumer. For example, Apple products are known for being “sleek”, “fast”, and “elegant”. Even if the iPhone was stripped from the apple logo, individuals would still be able to identify an iPhone because of these three qualities.
